6th Grade Critiques
Create an entry that tells a person how your sculpture visually shows what your "Identity" is. Describe the materials you used, the things that you drew or painted etc. What should we see when we REALLY look at your art! This should be three to ten sentences long. My sculpture describes me and my personality. It has many things on it. Such as, mustaches, my friends, drawing, The Walking Dead and more!!! The number one thing that describes me is Mustaches. The background is white and the part where you hold it is gold and silver. The second thing that best describes me is The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is a T.V show I watch and it is sooooo good!! I also put my favorite quote on it. The quote is "life is beautiful."

DeleteMy sculpture represents all the things in my life that I like. It is made with Flowers, Stickers, Glitter, Leafs, Shapes, Feathers, Buttons, and Googly Eyes. Each color represents a category. Red is for shapes I like, Orange is for Bands, Yellow is for books, Green is for my friends, Blue is for objects I like, and Purple is TV Shows and family. ~Mckenna c:
ReplyDeleteThe pencils on my sculpture shows that I love drawing. "If Daryl Dies We Riot" is something fans of 'The Walking Dead' say. On the other side it has a silver 2 on it. I put the 2 on the sculpture because it is my lucky number. Below is the face of one of my favorite 'The Walking Dead': Michonne. Below that is a Pokeball from Pokemon. On the base of the sculpture is the word GLAGGIE which is Glenn and Maggie from 'The Walking Dead' mixed together because they are a couple. My background are flames because I was originally going to put the Mockingjay from 'The Hunger Games' trilogy but it didn't work out well as you can see.~Taylor

ReplyDeleteMy sculpture represents gymnastics and Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson is a book). It is made with a wood block, a bended wire hanger, a nylon sock and paint. The colors on my sculpture are pink, purple, blue, black and white. Gymnastics is my life. When I am older, I want to be a gymnastics coach at Gymnastiks Unlimited. Gymnastiks Unlimited is the place I go for gymnastics. Percy Jackson is a book series that I love. Tyson is my favorite character in the book.

DeleteMy sculpture represents a sunrise. I made it out of a hanger and a nylon sock. I used a mixture of colors and puffballs for clouds. I love sunrises! They are so beautiful. I don't love morning, though, so I barely ever see one.

DeleteMy sculpture represents my love for art, drawing, music, and my personality. It is made with hot pink, pink, lime green, green, yellow, blue, purple, a lighter blue, sliver, black, and white paint. I love to draw, paint, listen to music, and my personality is so random and amazing. My friends make me who I am, and support me so much, so each color represents them. Mckenna is a red, for being all amazing, and fun, Jayden, a yellow, for being all exciting, and fun, Emme, a green, Mercides, a purple, being all wild and fun, Skylar, a Blue, being all calm and cool, and so many more that make up me! I love to draw, and show my art to other people, so i made an instagram all for art! (@the_reflectionest) My friends support me so much with my art, drawing, and music, so i made this sculpture after all the things I love and those who are at my side! ~ Melanie <3

DeleteMy sculpture represents the two core parts of my personality- good and bad.Good is my grades, my comedy (if you can call it that) and my odd happiness. Bad is my sweet tooth, my cynicism and sarcasm, and my occasional absurd burst. At the bottom of it, it boils down to one thing: which is the stronger? You may think it would be good, but you can never know unless you truly. Even if I don't show it well in the artwork, that is the meaning.

DeleteMy sculpture represents me and my friends. It is a music note because we all like music. I used hot glue, regular glue, cotton balls, bells, a piece of wood, a old metal hanger, and a nylon sock.

My sculpture represents ME!!! I put soccer balls, and shimmer stuff, that looks amazing on my sculpture. It also has a cross on it and POLKA-DOTS. The colors I used are purple, lime green, pink, and brown. The reason I put the soccer balls on is because I LOVE to play soccer. I put the shimmer stuff on because I like shimmer. I put everything else on because I like it.

The background is gray because it is light enough so I can paint something on it and trace it in black, it is also dark enough so nothing bleeds through. I painted horns and a blue kitty hat on my sculpture from Homestuck. I also put the word 'Ponies' on it because I don't know how to draw ponies and I guess I like the show My Little Pony. The colors of the letters represent the ponies in the show. Another thing I painted on it was a scythe because I don't really know... ~Alli

My sculpture is about one of my favorite youtubers, iballisticsquid! He is with Timmy Cat(his cat) and Fido(a dog). They are by the ocean. He is holding a diamond pickaxe. I chose iballisticsquid because he inspires me and is really funny. He is one of my drawings on Paigee World (for the iPod)(@Lixisamazing20). Thanks. ~Caroline

Deletemy scuplture represents what i like to do.i put a waterfall and flowers because i love nature .and on the back side i put a bunch of flags of most of the countrys i viseted in eroupe and i used neon green and blue because they are my favroite colors.

DeleteGrace I didn't know that you like nature so much. It was a good idea to add a waterfall and add almost real flowers on to your sculpture to show how you like nature. Also, I like how you put the flags of places you have visited.
DeleteThe materials I used for my sculpture include a wooden block, a bronze cloths hanger, and nylon material. For my colors I used a lot of main colors like neon pink, silver, gold, red, purple, black, blue, neon green, and orange. On one of the sides I have 4 microphones because I love to sing and listen to music and because I am in choir. The other side has two bottles of N.O.S. It is used to speed up cars of any type by at least 80 mph. I included it because i am a car whiz. I know every thing from perfect engines and transmissions.

DeleteMy sculpture represents me. It has pink, yellow, purple, and blue. On the bottom it has four puff balls with googly eyes that represent me and my siblings. The small one is me because I'm the youngest. The big one with feathers is my half sister and the ones with one eye are my brothers. The music notes and bells are because I have a passion for music. DeleteMy sculpture is Red and Black red is my favorite color, and black I like black too. The feathers represent my love of outdoors and The Walking Dead because their outside a lot obviously if you watch the show or play the game. The Red and the feathers always represent fire and the black represents surviving the many dangers of the world.

DeleteMy sculpture represents ME!!!!!! I have a swimmer on my sculpture because SWIM IS LIFE. In the water I put sparkly rhinestones because I love sparkles. I put a cross at the top of my sculpture. Also, I drew random flags because I love traveling. I wrote words too. Jesus, friends, animals, golf, family, traveling, basketball, fashion, and swimming. On the base of my sculpture I put colorful polka-dots. I also glued on sparkles. Next, I made little puff balls and glued them on. (cred to Lauren Slagter) Lastly, I used a lot of bright colors to paint my sculpture.

ReplyDeleteMy sculpture represents ME. The colors that i put were lime green,white,blue,neon red orange,gold,pink,silver, orange, yellow. I chose those colors because I just wanted to something colorful for my project. Then I just put a music note because I play an instrument. Then on the bottom i put a flowers and some clouds with cotton balls.Then I put bells on each side and I put cotton balls stretched out. Then I put a silver cross with golden outlined on the out side.

DeleteMy sculpture is made of a wooden block, a wire hanger, and a nylon. Some of the colors I used were purple, light blue, blue, orange, red, neon yellow, neon pink inside of a cross. The reason why I put a cross on mine is, I am a strong christian and the why there is bright colors is, I am very outgoing Then I put the girls on the run logo on the inside of the cross. The reason why I put the logo on my sculpture is, I love to run and girls on the run was a very fun time that I had before. On the outside of my cross I put neon salmon and white on it with opposite sides had the opposite color but in polka-dots. I also put music notes and a softball and bat. Lastly, on the block of wood I put a puff ball with googly eyes on it. -SYDNEY

DeleteMy sculpture is all black with white splatter all of it, and neat (kinda of strait) lines with many different colors. It also has little swirly's on all over it in gold along with hearts, I also traced some of the big splatters in the gold. The splatter, and black paint means I like to be mess sometimes, but I also like to be neat at the bottom ~Morgan C.~
